JCA Eagles Sports Program
A good Sports Program can be an important part of developing a balanced young person. Though we are not trying to shape athletes for college or professional athletics, we are training them in the spiritual values of team work, diligence, perseverance, a positive attitude, and plain-old hard work. If there is something to be learned from sports that can make us into a successful winning adult with character that pleases our Lord Jesus Christ, then we want to teach that to our children. Christian school athletics can be a tool used to that end.
Jacksonville Christian Academy is the home of the Eagles basketball and volleyball teams. JCA provides sports teams for the 7th through 12th grades in the Junior High and Senior High Divisions of the Arkansas Christian School Association. JCA's Elementary Sports Program involves students in grades 3-6, and also participates in the A.C.S.A.
Jacksonville Christian Academy holds the A.C.S.A. Senior High State Championship banners for the 1996, 1999, 2001, and 2008 school years. JCA is the state champs in Junior High basketball for 2007, and 2010 for Elementary Basketball. Go Eagles!
Pictures of Sports can now be found in our Gallery under the sports category.
