Alumni News - September 2007Dear Alumni: Praise the Lord! Another academic year is in full swing. Recently, I received a letter from Dr. Davis and the faculty of Bethel Baptist College regarding the teaching "line-up" for the ‘07-‘08 school year. It sounds like the students will be busy. It is always a blessing to see some familiar names listed as professors, I Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." Each of these men and ladies I know personally and can attest to their immense love for the Saviour, and for the lives they are affecting for eternity! May God bless each professor and their families as they "Train Servants for the Saviour!" Fellow Alumni, wouldn’t it be wonderful to give back something for the time and effort put into each us? Well, we can be praying for this very special place and the servants that give so much to ensure the generation of today, continued success in the ministry. Just recently I preached a message entitled "A Worthy Investment". It dealt specifically with prayer being an investment, and with all investments, we expect a worthwhile return. Dr. Files and the members of Bible Baptist Church have invested much in the Alumni of Bethel Baptist College and are expecting a return. Are you and I "A Worthy Investment?"
